The 3-4 Ravens played host to the 4-3 Patriots in a cold day.
Jermaine Lewis caught a 24-yard touchdown on the opening drive and from there it was a defense struggle. Twice in the first half New England got inside the five only to have to settle for field goals. Matt Stover missed two field goals but connected on three, the defense continued to hold the potent patriot offense in check. On a final drive down two scores, New England marched down the field as time ran out. On the final play, Tom Brady was forced to roll out and run the ball in – using the entire clock in the process. The score was close, but when time ran out Baltimore climbed back to 4-4 with a 16-13 win. New England fell to 4-4. --
